KiddBusy ("we," "us," or "our") operates KiddBusy.com, a platform that helps parents find kid-friendly activities, events, and businesses in their city.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us, including:
Email addresses when you sign up for our newsletter or submit a review
Business information when you submit a listing or sponsor inquiry
Review content including your name, rating, written review, and your child's age range
Billing information when you purchase a sponsored placement (processed securely by Stripe — we never store card numbers)
We also automatically collect standard web data including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time spent on pages through analytics tools (Google Analytics or Plausible).

Stripe — payment processing for sponsor subscriptions

What KiddBusy Provides
KiddBusy is a community-powered discovery platform that helps parents find kid-friendly businesses and events. Listings are a combination of community submissions, AI-assisted research, and sponsor placements. We do not operate, endorse, or guarantee any listed business.
Always verify hours, pricing, and availability directly with a business before visiting. Listings may contain outdated information.
Submitting a Listing
By submitting a business or event, you confirm that you have the right to share the information provided, that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge, and that the business is genuinely appropriate for families with children. We reserve the right to reject, edit, or remove any submission at our discretion.
Reviews
Reviews must be based on genuine personal experience. You may not submit reviews for businesses you own or are affiliated with, fake reviews, or reviews containing defamatory, offensive, or misleading content. We may remove reviews that violate these guidelines. By submitting a review, you grant KiddBusy a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display your review on our platform.
Sponsored Listings and Advertising
Sponsored placements are paid advertising products. Sponsors are clearly labeled. KiddBusy does not guarantee any specific number of clicks, impressions, or new customers from sponsored placements. Subscriptions are billed monthly and may be cancelled with 30 days' written notice. Refunds are not provided for partial months.
Intellectual Property
The KiddBusy name, logo, and platform design are our intellectual property. You may not reproduce, copy, or redistribute any part of KiddBusy without our written permission. User-submitted content remains owned by the submitter, subject to the license granted above.
Limitation of Liability
KiddBusy is provided "as is." We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the platform, reliance on listing information, or interactions with businesses found through KiddBusy. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding any claim.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify newsletter subscribers of material changes. Continued use of KiddBusy after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
